| OOOO xanga. I really tried to get back to edison for a game this semester but i just COULDNT! Labs every Thursday and band stuff Friday just dont make coming home easy.
Some of you will be interested to know that we are working on like our 5th marching show which is a Maynard tribute show. And thriller from last weeks show. because its just that cool. Speaking of thriller, michael jackson will be performing it at some world music show on Nov. 15th i think. it almost makes up for the fact that it's being hosted by lindsey lohan.
also, if OSU wins one more game, we go to a bowl game...which means we could be leaving on christmas day. stupid football determining my plans, preventing me from enjoying thanksgiving in austin and possibly ruining christmas.

so college is definatly everything they say it is. and if you stay in band for no other reason, let it be that some day youll be in a college band and it will be sooooo much better. so, friday night at like 330 in the morning someone pulled the fire alarm, which is like death to your ears. it was pretty great watching everyone wander out all confused and pissed. i do pity everyone still in highschool.
| stillwater is boring. band starts today. i miss tulsa.

| so heres a recap of yesterday, the last day of lollapalooza.
got to the park in time to see ben kweller and then a bit of the shins, of montreal, and she wants revenge. then we went to queens of the stone age which was crazy but nothing compared to the red hot chili peppers. luckily we all got split up and instead of joe dragging me to the front, i found a baseball shortstop that a bunch of kids were on. so there was like one spot left and i climbed it which turned out to be absolutly amazing. 30 feet up and looking around at 100,000 people is somthing i will never forget.
so all the kids at the front of the chili peppers were waiting for the rumored return of the smashing pumpkins which never came. it was a dissapointment but i had the time of my life anyways.
we drove home today. its so nice to be back, as there was nothing left for us there. thankyou lollapalooza, for all the awesome people we met, and for the most amazing concerts ever.
